This sounds like a good read. I’ve enjoyed other books by Anne Rivers Siddons and I know my mother would love it too.
My plans for this summer are pretty boring. We just moved into a new house so there will likely be more organizing, potentially some painting, yardwork, maybe a yard sale… Hopefully we’ll have time for picnics in the park, going to the beach, and maybe a couple of camping trips too!

I”m planning on spending as much time as possible with my family and having fun! We have a few small roadtrips (one being tomorrow to a waterpark/amusement park) and a few to zoos/museums! I also plan on going for more nature walks and trying to sqeeze time in to sit outside and do some reading! Thanks for entering me for this book.

My plans for summer include taking my boys to track practice and swimming lessons, reading a lot of good books, and a trip to the Shakespeare Festival in our state. I’m sure we’ll do a lot of other spur-of-the-moment fun stuff too.

This summer I’ll probably not travel more than 3-4 hours from home (no flying, sigh). I also hope to keep up with the weeds and of course, read a lot.

I hate to say it, but summer for me is like the rest of the year, I work full time and put my husband through college. At least this year he will finish his masters and start his PhD. Just 3 more years and maybe we can actually take a vacation in the summer. Oh well.

My summer will be spent finding a job. And maybe going to my prents Beach Cottage fo the weekend. And of course, reading. Especially since I already had a vacation to Athens and Istanbul in March.
And my parents are taking u kids on a cruise in December to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.

Relaxing, sitting on the swing and listening to nature’s music, the birds. Have family over for a BBQ when the youngest of us comes down for a visit.
BUT I might be taking treatments for cancer this summer depending on when they call me.

My younger son, my daughter, and one of my my grand girls are coming to visit. Of course, they are waiting until the racing season in Saratoga Springs. During the summer, living here is like a long vacation. Events galore, and with SPAC (Saratoga Performing Arts Center), we have the New York Ballet, and performers, and the orchestra, etc. We also have Saratoga Lake nearby, and Lake George is just up the road. Of course, I always associate summer with reading, so I will be doing more of that.

This summer I have already finished a 5 week summer reading session and my Harry Potter week leading up to a party and seeing the movie on the 15th. I still have the rest of July for programs – I am a children’s librarian. We are heading for NH and NY to visit family and attend our 45th high school reunion (ouch!) the first week of August. School start back up Aug. 7, so the summer will be done.
I am commenting on Diary of Cozette and Knight of Desire tonight.
