Visitors from Pump Up Your Book Promotion:

For some reason, it says that I’m hosting Richard Aaron’s Gauntlet today, but I was scheduled for June 19th.  I’m sorry, but I don’t have the review ready to put up today for that reason.  I will have it up next Friday though, so you’re welcome to come back and view it then.  Sorry for the inconvenience 😦

That is the question.

For a few months now, I’ve debated whether or not I should Twitter.  I’m not one of those people who have to keep up with all the current social networking trends, so Twitter’s popularity has actually pushed me away more than it has drawn me in.  I haven’t researched anything about Twitter, so I know next to nothing about the benefits of using it and how it works, etc.  But, the host of one my favorite blogs, Amy at Chic Book Chicks, sent an invitation to join Twitter.  I’m a little wary of joining, frankly because I have accumulated several different accounts on social networking sites, such as MySpace, Facebook, Goodreads, 2 blogs, and others which I’m too lazy to name at the moment, and adding another one may be slightly (if not completely) overwhelming.

So, if there are any Twitter veterans out there who would like to explain to me all the inner workings of Twitter and persuade me to join, by all means talk your heart out!
